SME-focused HR-tech player Keka attracts $57-M led by WestBridge Capital

Hyderabad-based human resources (HR) technology startup Keka has raised USD 57 million in a Series A funding round led by WestBridge Capital. Keka plans to use the funds towards research and development (R&D), strengthen engineering, product, and customer relationships teams. Founded by Vijay Yalamanchilli in 2015, Keka caters to human resources needs of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). It offers to streamline and automate payroll, recruiting, leave and attendance, and performance management. In 2021, Keka had raised USD 1.6 million from revenue-based financier Recur Club.
