Snacks maker Jabsons Foods sells 30% stake to raise funding from Jashvik Capital

Jashvik Capital, a growth private equity firm, is acquiring a 30% stake in Jabsons Foods Pvt Ltd, an ethnic savoury snacks seller based in Bharuch, Gujarat. The fresh capital will be used by Jabsons to strengthen its distribution network, expand the team and accelerate growth. Founded in 1992 by Satyanarayan and Rahul Agrawal, Jabsons makes snacks from peanuts, chana or chickpea, nut chikkis and namkeens. It is fully backward-integrated and sells its products across India through multiple channels and also has global presence in markets such as the US, Canada and the UK.
