Social gaming app Tamasha raises $3-M from Chiratae, 9Unicorns, Good Capital, others
Tamasha, a Mumbai-based social gaming app, has raised USD 3 million in its pre-Series A round led by Chiratae Ventures. 9Unicorns, Good Capital, Founderbank Capital, FirstCheque, PointOne Capital, Ice.vc, Nitish Mittersain, Siddharth , Navkiran Singh, Harsh Shah and Ramakant Sharma also participated in the funding round. The fresh capital will be used to ramp up product development, expand game offerings, scale the creator ecosystem, and strengthen the team. Founded by Saurabh Gupta and Siddharth Swarnkar, Tamasha is building the gaming metaverse, where creators can engage communities through live social games and instantly monetise their engagement. Earlier in November 2020, Tamasha had raised INR 2.5 crore from 9Unicorns, Titan Capital, First Cheque and Point One Capital and others.
