Social network Zorro raises $3.2 M from 3one4 Capital, 16 Unicorn founders, others
Zorro, a Gurugram-based pseudonymous social network, has raised USD 3.2 million in a seed round led by founders of 16 unicorns. The investors include Vijay Shekhar Sharma (Founder, Paytm), Ritesh Agarwal (Founder, OYO Rooms), Ashish Hemrajani (Founder, BookMyShow), Kunal Shah (Founder, CRED), Ankiti Bose (Founder, Zilingo), Ashneer Grover (Founder, BharatPe), Lalit Keshre (Founder, Groww), Jitendra Gupta (Founder, Jupiter) and Gaurav Gupta (Co-founder, Zomato). Venture capital firms 3one4 Capital and 9Unicorn Ventures co-led the seed funding round. Eximius Ventures, Roots Ventures and Venture Catalyst also chipped in. The proceeds will be used by the company to build a tech team that can build and scale the product. Zorro is a pseudonymous social network platform where people can have free-wheeling conversations without the fear of being judged.
