Solar panels maker Loom Solar raises $2-M from US-based SIMA Funds
Faridabad-based Loom Solar has raised USD 2 million from US-based Social Investment Managers and Advisors (SIMA) under the Energy Access Relief Fund (EARF) supported by the World Bank, DFC, BII, FMO, IFC and others. Loom Solar manufactures bi-facial solar panels and lithium batteries. Besides selling in India, the four year-old company exports products to 10 countries in North America and Europe, under the Government of India's ‘Make in India' initiative.
