Space tech startup Skyroot raises $4.5-M from Sherpalo Ventures, Wami Capital, others
Hyderabad-based space technology startup Skyroot Aerospace, which is developing privately built space launch vehicles, has raised USD 4.5 million (about INR 34 crore) in a bridge round to its Series-B fundraise. The round was led by early Google investor Ram Shriram through his venture capital firm Sherpalo Ventures and co-led by Wami Capital, existing investor Neeraj Arora and former Google executive Amit Singhal. The proceeds from the round would help the startup build critical infrastructure and accelerate the launch of its first rocket Vikram-1 later this year.
