Spacetech startup Agnikul Cosmos raises Rs.200-Cr from Celesta Capital, others
Chennai-based spacetech startup AgniKul Cosmos has raised INR 200 crore (USD 26.7 million) in Series B funding from Celesta Capital, rocketship.vc and existing investors including Artha India Ventures, Mayfield India, pi Ventures and Speciale Invest. With this, Agnikul has raised USD 40 million to date. Agnikul Cosmos was co-founded by Srinath Ravichandran and Moin SPM in 2017 and was incubated at IIT-M. It plans to use the funds to scale technology towards commercialisation, as well as invest in key facilities such as mobile launchpads and other test rigs necessary for addressing launch-on-demand customer needs.
