Spacetech startup SatSure raises $15-M Series A investment
Bengaluru-based SatSure, a provider of satellite-based earth observation data and analytics, has closed a Series A round of USD 15 million in equity and debt, led by Baring India and Promus Ventures. Omidyar Network India and xto10X are the two new investors who joined the cap table along with existing backers Force Ventures, Luckbox Ventures, and IndigoEdge Advisors. The fresh capital will help SatSure launch a fleet of four high-resolution optical and multispectral satellites by Q4, 2025. The financing will also help the company expand across the US and Asia-Pacific regions.
From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: Starting in Nov-21, SatSure had raised over USD 5 M from Baring India, ADB Ventures, Flowstate VC, Force Ventures, IndigoEdge Advisors, Toch.ai, Nishchay Goel and Saikiran Krishnamurthy. In Feb-23, it onboarded ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and HDFC Ltd as strategic investors in the company.
