Spacetech startup SatSure raises funding from Baring India, others
Bengaluru-based SatSure, a space technology company that uses satellite data to extract actionable insights for the banking and insurance sectors, has raised funding led by Baring India as it eyes expansion of its product portfolio and growing its global footprint. The company has remained bootstrapped until now and works with brands such as ICICI Bank, Reliance General Insurance, and Samunnati Finance to sell its insights on crop health and predictive analytics. The company will use the capital to double its team from 50 to 100 by the end of the current fiscal and grow the sales of its software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions in markets outside of India as well.
