Stock trading platform Dhan’s parent acquires algo investing startup Stratzy for $4.5 M

Mumbai-based Raise Financial, the parent company of online stock trading platform Dhan , has acquired fellow Mumbai-based Stratzy , an algo-based investing and trading startup, in a cash-and-stock deal valued at USD 4-4.5 million.Post acquisition, Stratzy will continue operating as an independent entity and business unit under Raise Financial, maintaining its offering of trading tools and investment algorithms to various brokerages and trading platforms.Founded in May 2021 by Gaurav Sangle and Mohit Bhandari, Stratzy provides strategy-driven investment products built upon data models and automated trading logic. The company has a 20-member team.

In Nov 2021, Stratzy had attracted about USD 1 M from Leo Capital and others.For FY25, Stratzy had reported about INR 2 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 1 Cr in net loss.
