Sundaram Alternates raises Rs.200-Cr for credit fund
Sundaram Alternates has raised INR 200 crore at the first close of its debut corporate credit fund, Sundaram Emerging Corporate Credit Opportunities Fund-Series I. The fund saw participation from family offices, corporate treasuries as well as high-net-worth individuals. Launched last June, the fund is a Category II AIF and aims to raise INR 500 crore with a green shoe option of another INR 500 crore. The fund will invest in high-yielding debentures and mezzanine securities in a portfolio of companies across the MSME, SME, fintech, manufacturing and services segments.
