Supply chain mgmt enabler Crest raises $800-K from IAN, IPV, others
Bengaluru-based automated inventory planning startup Crest has raised USD 800,000 in its pre-seed funding round, led by IAN and IPV. Others who invested in the round included founders of Delhivery, Shiprocket, Pickrr, Smytten, Samosa Party, and Sirona. The round also saw participation from investors from the supply chain industry including Ankit Sethi. Launched in March 2022 by Rahul Vishwakarma, Akhil Kumar, and Yogesh Byahatti, Crest is an automated inventory planning tool, designed to help D2C (direct-to-consumer) brands and SMBs (small and midsize businesses) in eliminating stockouts. It helps brands by providing answers to crucial questions: what and when to order; how much to stock; and where to place. The funds will be deployed to broaden Crest's product offerings and scale operations. Crest's customers include Samosa Party, Wow Skin, Swiss Beauty, Pro Nature, and Sleepwell.
