Sustainable water-tech co Uravu Labs raises funding led by Anicut Capital
Bengaluru-based Uravu Labs, which harnesses atmospheric moisture to produce drinking water, has raised a seed round led by Anicut Capital and Rocketship.vc. Existing investor Speciale Invest along with Vesta (France), Venture Catalysts (India), Verso Holdings (Luxembourg), Spectrum Impact (India), Echo River Capital (US) and angel investors from India, the US and the Middle East participated in the fundraise. The company plans to use the capital to scale its 100% renewable water technology. The industrial-scale and affordable solution is aimed at transforming the beverage industry and real estate and hospitality sectors, and will be commercialised by 2023.
