TA Associates to invest $250-M in informatics firm Zifo

Private Equity firm TA Associates has invested USD 250 million (INR 2,000 crore) to acquire a "significant" stake in Chennai-headquartered Zifo Technologies Pvt Ltd and its affiliates, which provide informatics solutions to life sciences companies and process industries globally. Spark Financial Holdings was the exclusive financial advisor to Zifo and its selling shareholders. Founded in 2008, Zifo has offices in Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, UK and US.
