Tea brand Vahdam raises Rs.174-Cr from IIFL, Sixth Sense, others
Noida-based tea brand Vahdam India has raised INR 174 crore (USD 23.6 million) as a part of a Series D round led by IIFL AMC. Existing investors including a consortium of Sixth Sense Ventures, the Mankind Group family office, Kris Gopalkrishnan family office, Urmin Group and White Whale Ventures, also participated in the round. The total funds raised by Vahdam India now stands at INR 290 crore. Post this funding, its valuation is about INR 700 crore. It will use the fresh funds to expand distribution across online and offline channels, enter new geographies and foray into new complementary categories.
