Tech-focused Arkam Ventures to raise $180-M Fund II

Venture Capital firm Arkam Ventures has announced its Fund II with a target corpus of USD 180 million to back technology-focused startups. Fund II will back 20 startups in existing sectors as well as in new sectors, including manufacturing technology and electric vehicles. Arkam will back startups across Series A and Series B stages. Arkam Ventures was founded in 2020 by former Managing Director at Helion Venture Partners, Rahul Chandra, and former Kalaari Capital partner, Bala Srinivasa. In April 2022, it announced the final close of its USD 106 million Fund I, which has backed 16 startups. The firm's first fund includes British International Investment, SIDBI, Evolvence, and Quilvest as limited partners.
