Tech Mahindra acquires US-based WFH solutions provider Activus for $62-M
Pune-based, publicly listed IT services firm Tech Mahindra has acquired a 100% stake in Orlando, FL (US)-based Activus Connect, a provider of work-at-home customer experience management solutions, for USD 62 million. The acquisition is projected to bolster Tech Mahindra's capabilities in workplace solutions and strengthen its end-to-end CX portfolio. Tech Mahindra will also leverage Activus Connect's customizable omni-channels and AI-powered compliance analytics platform, SmartVirtual, to offer a cloud-based ecosystem of technologies, analytics, and virtual management practices. Founded in 2018, Activus posted a turnover of USD 17 million in CY20. For H1 CY21, its turnover was USD 21.8 million. It has around 1,750 employees.
