Temasek commits to invest 50% of the corpus of 3 Info Edge-promoted VC funds
Singapore-government owned Temasek, via its unit MacRitchie Investments Pte. Ltd., has committed to invest about 50% of the total corpus of three VC funds - registered with SEBI as Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) - promoted by publicly-listed Info Edge. The 3 funds include IE Venture Fund Follow-on I (USD 50 million); IE Venture Investment Fund II (USD 75 million) and Capital 2B Fund I (USD 37.5 million). Info Edge plans to put in the balance 50% from its balance sheet.
