Test prep platform for govt jobs Adda247 raises $20-M from WestBridge Capital, others
Gurugram-based edtech platform Adda247 has raised USD 20 million (about INR 150 crore) in a Series B round led by WestBridge Capital, with participation from existing investor Info Edge, Asha Impact and JM Financials. It will use the funds to optimise technology & product and conduct senior-level hiring. Adda247 may also acquire a few companies with complementary offerings. Founded in 2010, Adda247 offers live-video classes, on-demand video courses, mock tests, and books focused on government examinations and claims to have 15 million monthly active users on its platform.
