Test-prep platform Melvano raises Rs.1.3 Cr from Tyke Invest
Chennai-headquartered edtech startup Melvano has raised INR 1.3 crore from Tyke Invest. Earlier, the IIT Madras-incubated startup had raised seed funding from angel investors in April 2021. Founded by Taran Singh, Melvano is an AI-based learning platform for competitive exams such as the IIT-JEE, NEET and CUET. Additionally, it would provide live projects, internships, and a job guarantee upon course completion. Melvano plans to enter the upskilling market with the introduction of Skillbary, its new product, in March of this year. Melvano has raised INR 4 crore till date and is in talks with venture capital firms to raise more capital.
