Testing s'ware maker BrowserStack is India's latest mega Unicorn with $200-M raise

Mumbai- and San Francisco, CA (USA)-based software testing BrowserStack has raised USD 200 million, at a USD 4 billion valuation, led by the US-based Bond Capital with participation from Insight Partners and existing investor Accel. BrowserStack's products help developers test their websites and mobile applications. It claims to have 50,000+ customers and four million+ developer signups. The latest investment will support BrowserStack's strategic acquisitions, expansion of its product offerings, and continued scale and growth.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: Founded in 2011, BrowserStack had raised a $50 million round in 2018 from Accel. Bond Capital’s previous investment in an Indian company was its INR 172 Cr contribution to the INR 4,183.21 Cr (about USD 570 million) fund raise by Edtech Unicorn Byju’s in June 2020.
