Three-wheeler EV battery maker Pointo raises $3-M
Kolkata-based electric vehicle (EV) battery startup Pointo, backed by Mufin finance, has raised USD 3 million from investors for its expansion into 20 districts of West Bengal. The company expects 4MW li-ion batteries to be deployed in West Bengal by 2024. Pointo has built an eco-system for 3-wheeler e-vehicles and plans to cater to 2-wheelers and the wider B2C vehicle segment in the next 5 years. The platform claims to have around 3000+ customers.
