Tiger eyes $6-B VC fund with an eye on Indian startups

New York-based investment firm Tiger Global is targeting a corpus of USD 6 Billion for its new venture capital fund PIP 16 (Tiger Global Private Investment Partners LP). The fund size was initially planned for over USD 8 Billion. Over the past few years, Tiger Global has invested most of the PIP 15 fund in early-stage enterprise software and fintech firms in the United States and India.
