Tutoring marketplace Winuall raises Rs.17-Cr from Dream Incubator, IP Ventures, others
Winuall, a Bengaluru-based social commerce platform that allows educators to share a wide range of curated courses for their students, has raised INR 17 crore from Dream Incubator, Inflection Point Ventures, and existing investors including Prime Venture Partners, Beenext and others. The startup will use the fresh capital to enhance product and tech capabilities, hire across leadership roles and scale up marketplace business by onboarding more creators, content-suppliers and educators. Winuall claims to have a highly curated repository of content with over 45,000+ lessons created by 1200+ content experts. The company claims to have sold 35,000+ courses in the last 4 months and has raised over INR 38.5 crore till date. Founded in 2019 by Ashwini Purohit & Saurabh Vyas, Winuall aims to help tutors to grow their business by adopting technology which helps in the overall teaching and learning experience both for students and the tutors. It also provides tutors with marketing tools which will help them reach potential students and help in building their own brand.
