Upskilling platform BlueLearn raises $3.5 M from Elevation Capital, Lightspeed, others

Bengaluru-based upskilling and job-finding platform BlueLearn has raised USD 3.5 million in a seed funding round led by Elevation Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners. Other investors who participated in the round include 2 AM Ventures and angel investors including Titan Capital, Meesho founders Vidit Aatrey and Sanjeev Barnwal, and Pixxel founder Awais Ahmed. Bluelearn plans to use the funds to strengthen the product and team as well as to grow its community user base by 10x and double its team size. It is also hiring across functions such as product, tech, marketing, and operations. Founded in 2021 by BITS Pilani alumni Sancheti and Harish Uthayakumar, BlueLearn provides a one-stop platform for students to learn new skills, network with peers, and apply for internships. The app has 150,000 members from over 20 countries including the US, the UK and Singapore. BlueLearn also hosts large-scale events like Ask Me Anything (AMA) with top entrepreneurs, gaming tournaments, music concerts, and hackathons.
