Upskilling platform Scaler Academy raises $55-M from Lightrock, Sequoia, Tiger Global
Bengaluru-based edtech startup Scaler Academy (formerly InterviewBit), which helps college students and tech professionals upgrade their skills, has raised USD 55 million in a Series B funding round led by Lightrock India. The firm's existing investors Sequoia Capital India and Tiger Global also participated in the funding round. The total capital raised by Scaler since January2020 now stands at USD 76.5 million. The company, whose valuation has increased to USD 710 million after the fundraise, will use the capital for expansion, inorganic growth and to beef up its technology platform.
