US-based General Catalyst in talks to acquire VC firm Venture Highway
US venture capital firm General Catalyst is in talks to acquire India-focused VC firm Venture Highway (VH Capital).Co-founded by former WhatsApp executive Neeraj Arora, VH Capital focuses on backing early-stage startups. The firm’s last fund (its second) was about the size of USD 80 million. It counts Meesho, ShareChat, and Moglix among its portfolio startups. Samir Sood, one of its other partners, recently stepped down.
