Used electronic gadgets marketplace Cashify raises $50-M led by Prosus at $250-M valuation

Gurugram-based re-commerce platform Cashify has raised around USD 50 million in its Series E round led by Prosus at a valuation of a little over USD 250. Prosus contributed INR 231 crore to the round, followed by NewQuest, Paramark, AEP Holdings and Bessemer which invested INR 77 crore, INR 46.6 crore, INR 17.61 crore and INR 5.9 crore respectively. Cashify lets customers sell and buy old mobile phones and laptops. Apart from buying directly from users, the company works with several offline and online channels and OEMs such as Xiaomi, OnePlus and Samsung for their exchange programs.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: Between Apr-15 and Mar-21, Cashify had raised over USD 40 M from Olympus Capital, CDH Investments, Shunwei Capital, M&S Partners, Blume Ventures, Bessemer, Others.
