Video commerce platform Swirl raises $1.1 M led by Shastra VC
Video commerce platform Swirl has raised USD 1.1 million in seed round led by Shastra VC (formerly Veda VC) and angel investors including Aakrit Vaish, Shan Krishnasamy, Mohammed Dewji, Naim Siddiqui, Anil Goteti, Jiten Patri, Arun Prabhudesai, Neha Kulwal, Ratan Ingu and Paresh Chaudhry.The new funds will be used to meet global customer demand and grow the firm’s marketing and product teams with a particular focus on the US and the Middle East markets.Founded in 2021 by Kaizad Hansotia and Bheshaj Joshi, Swirl has offices in India, and is gearing up to open offices in US and Dubai to expand its global presence. It counts brands such as Puma, TVS, Arvind, Momstore, Homesrus, Gkhair and LG as clients.
