Virtual restaurant operator Dil Foods raises $2-M
Bengaluru-based virtual restaurant operator Dil Foods has raised USD 2 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by V-cube Ventures (a realty focused firm) and Mount Judi Ventures. Dil Foods has eight brands and has collaborated with 54 local restaurants in Bangalore and Hyderabad. The new funds will be deployed for expansion and for the launch of new brands. Dil Foods specialises in authentic regional cuisine consumed daily. The platform operates an asset-light model leveraging the underutilised infrastructure of existing restaurants to manage the last mile of cooking and distribution while they manage the business operations, supply chain, branding, and marketing.
