Voice tech startup Uniphore raises $400-M from NEA, March Capital, others

Uniphore, a Chennai- and Silicon Valley-based AI-enabled voice technology company which enables conversational automation, has raised USD 400 million in a round led by NEA, March Capital and other existing investors along with new entities, at a valuation of USD 2.5 Billion. Hilarie Koplow-McAdams of NEA will join the board of Uniphore, the latest Unicorn from India. The company will use the funds to extend its technology and market leadership with advancements in voice AI, computer vision and tonal emotion, apart from expanding its operations to North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
