Welfare delivery service provider Haqdarshak raises addl funding
Bengaluru-headquartered Haqdarshak Empowerment Solutions, a welfare delivery service provider, has raised a pre-Series A1 round. Among the investors are Innovating Justice Fund and the Village Capital-managed Financial Health Innovation Fund, besides Abhishek Rungta (founder of Indus Net Technologies), Deep Bajaj (co-founder of Sirona Hygiene), Bhavin Pandya (co-founder of Games 24X7) and other angel investors such as Girish Kulkarni and Mohit Bajaj. Shark Tank India members – Namita Thapar, executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals; Peyush Bansal, co-founder of Lenskart and Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt – were also part of the round along with existing investors such as the Deepak Group, Acumen Fund, Beyond Capital Fund and 3i Partners. Haqdarshak digitises welfare schemes and provides application support to beneficiaries of the schemes in low-income areas in both rural and urban communities.
