Wi-Fi solutions provider Wiom secures Rs.30-Cr from YourNest, 9Unicorns, others
Delhi-based Wiom, a telecom and technology-focused startup, has raised INR 30 crore from YourNest, 9Unicorns and a global tech giant. A few angel investors along with existing investors Omidyar Network India and Auxano have also participated in the round. WIOM plans to utilize this investment to enhance its product offerings and scale the business. Wiom is creating a blockchain-based model to create an affordable Internet model, currently in Delhi with plans to expand across regions. With over 10,000 subscribers at present, the startup plans to scale up 25X times in the next 12 months.
