Workflow mgmt platform Qikwork to raise about $5-M from Nexus, Blume

Qikwork Services Pvt Ltd, a Bengaluru-based workflow management platform, is to raise USD 3-5 million (INR 22-37 crore) from Nexus Venture Partners and Blume Ventures. Qikwork, launched in November 2020 by former Zomato executives Arpit Dave, Viral Chhajer, Aravind Reddy and Gnanesh Chilukuri, is primarily focused on the manufacturing and warehousing industries, which currently employ over 70 million workers in the country. Its employee management platform seeks to help businesses manage their blue-collar workforce by automating daily attendance capturing and processing salary payouts. Dave, Reddy and Chilukuri had previously co-founded on-demand logistics and food delivery startup Runnr, which Zomato acquired in 2017.
