Xponentia Capital look to raise $100-M for second fund
Xponentia Capital Partners, a mid-market focused private equity fund, is raising its second fund with a target of USD 100 million (INR 750 crore). The homegrown investor, which counts Barbeque Nation and Altigreen among its portfolio firms, launched the fund a week ago. Xponentia Opportunities Fund-2 is expected first close by April 2022. The fund will have investors including Indian family offices, domestic financial institutions, corporates as well as global investors. The INR 500 crore Xponentia Opportunities Fund-1 was fully raised from domestic investors. Xponentia Capital was floated by Ajay Relan of CX Partners, former head of Citigroup India PE Fund PR Srinivasan and former Carlyle India head Devinjit Singh.
