Z21 Ventures sets up $5-M fund to invest in early-stage cos

Early-stage venture capital firm Z21 Ventures has set up a USD 5-million fund to invest in early-stage companies. The Z21 Ventures Fund will aim to provide value to both startups and investors. The VC firm was founded by Abhinav Shashank and Raj Singh. Shashank is CEO and co-founder of healthcare technology company Innovaccer. Singh is the COO and co-founder at Hyperspec AI. The fund aims to identify and invest in early-stage technology companies and then support them in their growth with the help of a community of subject matter experts in different domains. Experts on the firm's board include : Pallaw Sharma (chief data and analytics officer, Cisco), Piyush Agarwal (founder of Scholr), Sachin Saxena (head of marketing at Innovaccer). The experts will not only invest as limited partners in the fund, but will also participate in selecting, supporting and guiding the early-stage companies on their GTM, product strategy and product market fit.
