Zomato founder Goyal sells stake in grocery delivery startup Blinkit to Tiger Global

Zomato founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal has sold his personal stake in Gurugram-based online grocery delivery firm Blinkit (formerly Grofers) to Tiger Global. The move comes at a time when Blinkit looks to raise USD 500 million led by Zomato. Goyal's first investment in Blinkit was made in 2015 and is estimated to have made USD 2.86 million through this transaction that had been executed over six months after Zomato signed up to invest USD 120 million.
