Freshworks to acquire US-based AI-mgmt platform Torii

Chennai- and San Mateo, CA (USA)-based, Nasdaq-listed customer relationship management (CRM) software company Freshworks is to acquire New York-based Torii , a SaaS management platform.Founded in 2017, Torii provides businesses with visibility into their application inventory, AI project consumption, software licensing, and user spending. By tracking AI consumption to the individual token level and attributing it to specific teams, the platform enables IT departments to implement chargebacks, establish usage limits, and identify expenditure spikes.Freshworks plans to integrate Torii with its IT service management offering, Freshservice, to provide IT teams with a centralised view of a company’s technology stack, including software usage and associated costs.
