McCain Foods to acquire frozen potato processing biz of Falcon Agrifriz Foods

Delhi-based McCain Foods is to acquire the frozen potato processing business of Ahmedabad-based Falcon Agrifriz Foods.Founded in 2023, Falcon Agrifriz operates a fully automated potato processing facility and maintains relationships with over 1,000 farmers. The company employs more than 450 and produces a range of frozen potato products for both domestic and international markets.Toronto, Canada-based McCain Foods is the world’s largest producer of frozen French fries. This acquisition is meant to complement McCain’s existing operations in Mehsana, Gujarat.
