Tata Motors launches tender offer for Italian commercial vehicle maker Iveco
Mumbai-headquartered Tata Motors has launched a voluntary cash tender offer for all common shares of the Turin, Italy-based commercial vehicle manufacturer Iveco Group . The transaction, which is priced at Euro 14.1 per share, values the company at Euro 3.82-B. The deal is intended to result in a full acquisition and the subsequent delisting of Iveco Group from Euronext Milan. The offer has received support from Iveco Group’s largest shareholder, Exor, which has committed to tender its 27% stake in the company.Iveco Group is an Italian transport and commercial vehicle manufacturer. To facilitate the financing of the acquisition, Tata Motors has entered into a debt commitment letter with Morgan Stanley Bank, N.A., Morgan Stanley Senior Funding, and MUFG Bank for bridge financing.The tender offer is scheduled to open on September 7, 2026, with a vote by Iveco Group shareholders expected to take place in October.
