Actis consolidates road assets of 2 funds into ‘NXT-Infra Trust’ at $1-B valuation

Actis LLP, a private equity firm that specializes in building and investing in sustainable infrastructure, has consolidated 11 road assets from its two funds into an infrastructure investment trust, named NXT-Infra Trust, at a valuation of USD 1 Billion. The transaction follows a fundraising of INR 118 crore from investors.The road assets, previously held under Actis Long Life Infrastructure Fund 1 and 2, have been transferred to the trust. Following the capital raise, Actis’ stake in the trust has decreased from 86% to 71%, with the remaining interest held by domestic investors.The trust is intended to serve as a platform for acquisitions, with the firm identifying digital infrastructure, electric vehicles, waste recycling, and water services as potential areas for further investment.
