Healthium, Romsons in race to acquire medical devices seller BL Lifesciences

KKR-owned Healthium Medtech and Temasek-backed Romsons Group have emerged as the primary contenders to acquire a 70% to 80% stake in Delhi-based BL Lifesciences . The transaction is expected to value BL Lifesciences between INR 1,800-Cr and INR 2,000-Cr. KPMG is serving as the advisor to the promoters for this stake sale.BL Lifesciences is a fourth-generation family-owned business that manufactures and distributes medical devices. Its product portfolio includes equipment for cardiac surgery, critical care, interventional cardiology, anaesthesia, and surgical care, such as heart-lung packs, oxygenators, cath-lab kits, and surgical consumables.

For FY25, BL Lifesciences had reported about INR 270 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 20 Cr in PAT.
