FMCG co. Marico buys addnl 24% stake in Satiya Nutraceuticals for Rs.1,012-Cr

Consumer goods company Marico has increased its stake in Mumbai-based Satiya Nutraceuticals , the parent company of the brand “The Plant Fix-Plix”, to 84.09% on a fully diluted basis. The company acquired an additional 24.09% stake from the founders and other shareholders for INR 1,012.03 Cr. Following this transaction, Marico’s aggregate investment in the firm stands at INR 1,392.07 Cr. The remaining 14.09% stake held by the founders and other shareholders is scheduled for acquisition in July 2027.Founded in 2020, Satiya Nutraceuticals operates in the nutrition, wellness, and personal care segments. Marico intends to use this investment to expand its total addressable market within the value-added foods and nutrition sectors and to bolster its presence in wellness and personal care categories.
