Autocomp co Minda to buy 51% stake in Uzbekh car headlight maker UZ Chasys for Rs.58-Cr
Gurugram-based, publicly listed auto components maker Minda Industries will acquire a 51% stake in Uzbekistan-based automotive lighting manufacturer UZ Chasys for around INR 58 crore. The Uzbekistan government is divesting its 51% stake in UZ Chasys through an auction process. UzChasys manufactures automobile headlights & lamps and is a supplier to OEMs in Uzbekistan with a significant number of exports.
