Automotive electronics player FourFront to merge with Dhoot Transmission’s arm

Aurangabad-based Dhoot Transmission has entered a partnership with Pune-based FourFront, under which FourFront will merge with one of Dhoot's subsidiaries.KPMG and PwC acted as financial advisors for the transaction. Trilegal served as the legal advisor to Dhoot Transmission, while KPMG and Desai & Diwanji advised FourFront.FourFront is a Tier-1 supplier of customised electro-mechanical and electronic solutions to passenger vehicle (PV) and commercial vehicle (CV) original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in India. Its product portfolio includes electromechanical switches, power electronics products, and electric vehicle (EV) solutions.Bain Capital will continue to support both companies, providing its global automotive experience to scale operations, deepen OEM partnerships, and drive operational excellence.
