Best Agrolife acquires 99% stake in Kashmir Chemicals

Publicly-listed agri input manufacturing company Best Agrolife Ltd (BAL) has acquired a 99% stake in Kashmir Chemicals, a manufacturer of pharmaceutical ointment and other products based out of Samba, Jammu & Kashmir. Kashmir Chemicals produces pesticide formulations, including emulsified concentrates, wettable powders, and granules. The profitable company, which was until recently a partnership firm with Shyamanand Sharma and Pardeep Kumar Jain as equal partners, has an annual turnover of approximately INR 100 crore .
