Big Bang Food Tech acquires Ambala-based Dhaba chain

Gurugram based Big Bang Food Tech (BBFT) has acquired Ambala, Punjab-based “Puran Singh Ka Mashoor Vishal Dhaba”. It plans to open at least 100 new outlets under the brand by March 2023. In Jan 2022, BBFT had acquired the Kathi roll focused “34 Chowringhee Lane”. Started in 2004, 34 Chowringhee Lane has 40 outlets nationwide. It sells via high street retail as well as online sales channels. BBT is in talks with brands across Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Amritsar, with plans to scale them across India.
