Birla Fertility acquires 86% stake in Kerala-based IVF chain ARMC
Birla Fertility & IVF, part of the USD 2.9 Billion CK Birla Group, has acquired a 86% stake in ARMC IVF , a Kozhikode, Kerala-based chain of fertility centres.ARMC IVF, founded in 2009 by fertility expert K.U. Kunjimoideen, with its team of over 120 personnel including doctors, will continue to oversee operations at these centres in collaboration with Birla Fertility & IVF under a co-branded approach. ARMC IVF, besides in southern states, has branches in Doha and Dubai.Birla Fertility & IVF currently operates 30 centres across 27 cities in 15 states. Post-acquisition, this will increase to 37 centres in 31 cities.
