Birla Fertility acquires IVF chain BabyScience
Gurugram-headquartered Birla Fertility & IVF has completed the acquisition of Bengaluru-based BabyScience IVF Clinics . The acquisition, its second in three months, is expected to strengthen the company’s presence in the western and southern part of the country and take its total number of clinics to 50.The company will initially take a co-branded approach, with BabyScience’s current employees continuing to oversee operations.BabyScience IVF Clinics mainly operates in cities in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai. It has 12 clinics across Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Haryana.In May, Birla Fertility & IVF acquired an 86% stake in ARMC IVF, a chain of fertility centres based in Kerala.
