Black Gold Recycling acquires majority stake in waste mgmt player Reteck Envirotech

Hyderabad-based Black Gold Recycling has acquired a majority stake in Mumbai-based Reteck Envirotech Pvt Ltd , the Indian subsidiary of the Hong Kong- and USA-based Li Tong Group. Post deal, Pankaj Tirmanwar, CEO of Reteck Envirotech, will join Black Gold as co-founder and board member.Reteck Envirotech specializes in sustainable reverse supply chain management for various waste streams, including batteries, plastics, solar panels, and electronic waste. Black Gold Recycling offers solutions in electronics lifecycle management and asset recovery.The strategic move aims to combine Reteck’s operational expertise with Black Gold’s innovation-led recovery models. The acquisition provides Black Gold with immediate access to specialised recycling infrastructure, such as IT asset disposition facilities, component recovery systems, and electronic waste processing capabilities.
